Casablanca Pre-Fall 2026 Explores the Cinematic Landscape of Egypt

Casablanca Pre-Fall 2026 Explores the Cinematic Landscape of Egypt

With glowing constellations, ornate detailing, and the surreal backdrop of the Egyptian desert, Casablanca’s latest campaign blurs the line between reality and fantasy.

For Pre-Fall 2026, Casablanca travels to Egypt in a striking campaign which highlights the country’s immersive landscape, weaving together ancient history and cinematic allure.

Creative Director Charaf Tajer continues the brand’s ongoing fascination with escapism, this time channeling the mystique of the Egyptian desert through rich textures, ornate detailing, and a dreamlike visual narrative.

Photographed by Per Appelgren using a digital virtual production stage, the campaign merges physical and imagined worlds. Set against sandy terrains inspired by Egypt’s White Desert, the imagery unfolds beneath glowing constellations and oversized monolithic structures, creating a cinematic atmosphere reminiscent of classics like Death on the Nile and The Prince of Egypt.

The collection itself leans heavily into visual storytelling. Casablanca’s monogram is reimagined with inspiration drawn from the intricate mother-of-pearl inlays seen on traditional board games and decorative objects throughout the region. Elsewhere, graphic prints fuse hieroglyphics and ancient Egyptian reliefs with the brand’s signature gradients and saturated palette of emerald green, terracotta, navy, and gold.

Signature Casablanca silhouettes remain at the core, including silk shirts, crochet sets, sporty tailoring, swimwear, and the continuing evolution of the Del Mar sneaker. At the same time, the collection embraces a slightly more playful energy with pieces like the now-recognizable banana-shaped leather bag first introduced during Spring/Summer 2026.

There’s also a noticeable emphasis on mythology, astronomy, and cosmology woven throughout the collection, reinforcing the sense that Casablanca is building not just a seasonal wardrobe, but an entire world around its inspirations.

Rather than feeling costume-like, the collection balances fantasy with wearability — a space Casablanca has become increasingly skilled at occupying. The brand’s ability to romanticize travel and leisure without losing its contemporary edge continues to resonate, especially in a fashion landscape increasingly drawn to escapist storytelling.

The Pre-Fall 2026 collection is available now via casablancaparis.com, as well as at the brand’s flagship boutiques in Los Angeles and Paris and select retailers worldwide.
