Hello cozy season! Chelsea chocolaterie Makers has joined forces with Isabella Charlotta Poppius on a limited-edition Fig & Walnut Matcha – and it might just be autumn in a cup.
Available throughout October, the collaboration blends ceremonial-grade matcha with ripe fig, toasted walnut and maple, topped with walnut foam and a dusting of cinnamon. Served hot or iced, it’s rich, gently spiced and suitably indulgent, without relying on artificial syrups or powders.
The collaboration comes from Poppius’ long-standing love of both matcha and Makers, with its October launch timed to coincide with the beginning of tree-planting season – a nod to her work in sustainability.
“I wanted to create something that is luxurious but still democratic and accessible. My love for matcha and Makers felt like the perfect match(a). I’m always looking for new ways to express myself creatively, so hopefully people never quite know what I’ll do next. It also meant a lot that Makers recognised my work in sustainability, making tree-planting season a really natural way to bring all of these elements together.” — Isabella Charlotta Poppius.

Photographed by Henry O’Sullivan, the accompanying campaign takes a distinctly fashion-led approach, with Poppius captured in a series of intimate, close-up portraits.
The Fig & Walnut Matcha is available at Makers Chelsea throughout October.
