Salvatore Ferragamo Pre-Fall 2026 Collection

Salvatore Ferragamo Pre-Fall 2026 Collection

Maximilian Davis delivers elongated silhouettes, nautical detailing, and modern expressions of timeless glamour.

For Pre-Fall 2026, Salvatore Ferragamo Creative Director Maximilian Davis continues his exploration of the house’s Hollywood legacy, reimagining the glamour of the 1920s through a modern, ocean-inspired lens.

Drawing from the idea of water as a connector—between people, places, and new beginnings—Davis looks to sailors and the journeys they undertook as a narrative thread throughout the collection. Nautical stripes and archival prints resurface on silk scarf dresses and fluid knits, their elongated lines echoing the relaxed elegance of 1920s silhouettes.

Golden Age references appear in bouclé textures and draped dresses, refined with contemporary restraint. Subtle sailor-inspired details—knotted fastenings, horn and Gancini buttons, boating eyelets, and structured knit patterns—bring a sense of utility to the collection, while coated natural fabrics introduce modern, technical finishes.

Footwear evolves with fresh interpretations of Ferragamo icons, including a reimagined ballerina with the Vara bow rendered in shredded grosgrain, alongside new criss-cross sandals. Sculptural satin pumps with an “S”-shaped heel nod to Art Deco glamour, accented with jewelry-like embellishments.

Accessories take on elongated East-West proportions, with updated versions of the Hug and double Gancini flap bags. Craft remains central, seen in the Soft Hug reworked in grosgrain and a woven leather hobo that highlights Ferragamo’s enduring artisanal expertise.

The result is a collection that blends Italian everyday elegance with maritime romance and cinematic sophistication—rooted in heritage, yet unmistakably modern.
