UNIQLO x JW Anderson Introduces New Layers for FW26

Cropped jackets, Fair Isle knits, and classic flannel bring a collegiate feel to the latest UNIQLO x JW Anderson collaboration.

UNIQLO and JW Anderson return for Fall Winter 2026 with a collection inspired by theater and academic culture. The latest collaboration reworks classic wardrobe staples with updated proportions, collegiate patterns, and practical details, bringing a fresh perspective to everyday dressing.

Outerwear leads the collection, with cropped silhouettes and relaxed shapes setting the tone. The genderless Short Blouson comes in deep burgundy with gathered cuffs and a matching hem, while the women’s Padded Short Jacket pairs a boxy fit with oversized flap pockets. Fleece styles add more options for layering, including a men’s Windproof Fleece Jacket and a women’s Fleece Short Blouson.

Knitwear leans into the collection’s collegiate references. A lambswool Fair Isle sweater combines an oatmeal base with red and pale blue motifs, while V-neck sweaters and crew neck vests bring the same academic influence into a range of colors and patterns. The women’s Pleated Skirt adds movement through its asymmetric cut, balancing the relaxed outerwear and knitwear with a more tailored shape.

Everyday staples round out the lineup, from a cropped cream-and-black Flannel Boxy Shirt to Straight Work Pants and faded, distressed Straight Jeans. The relaxed cuts keep the pieces easy to mix and layer, while familiar patterns and silhouettes give the collection its lived-in feel.

“This season reflects the worldview of theater and academic culture, the intersections of unbound creativity,” says Jonathan Anderson. “Building on traditional styles, we’ve created a collection that incorporates colors, patterns, and functionality to be enjoyed in a range of everyday settings.”

Accessories carry the collection into colder weather, with a forest green Wool Cashmere Beanie, a striped navy Wool Cashmere Stole, and a navy Shoulder Bag. HEATTECH Socks add another hit of pattern through argyle designs, stripes, and two-tone color blocking.

The UNIQLO x JW Anderson Fall Winter 2026 collection launches October 15, with the full lineup available online and at 15 UNIQLO stores across the United States.
