Gentle Monster and Prada have partnered on a new limited-edition eyewear collection, combining the Korean label’s contemporary design approach with Prada’s signature luxury aesthetic. Available exclusively in select Asian markets, the collaboration introduces three sleek titanium frame styles alongside a cinematic campaign starring Japanese actor and Prada ambassador Kentaro Sakaguchi.

The collection first debuted during Paris Fashion Week and continues Gentle Monster’s growing list of high-profile collaborations. Known for pushing the boundaries of eyewear through sculptural design, immersive retail experiences, and creative partnerships, the brand once again brings a fresh perspective to luxury accessories.

Each style features lightweight titanium construction, angular silhouettes, and streamlined wire frames. The standout detail is Prada’s iconic logo, reimagined sideways along the temples—a subtle yet distinctive design choice that gives the collection its own identity while remaining unmistakably Prada.

The accompanying campaign, directed by James J. Robinson, expands the collaboration beyond product design. Starring Kentaro Sakaguchi, the film explores five elemental forces—earth, water, fire, air, and love—creating a dreamlike visual narrative that reflects both brands’ shared appreciation for storytelling and artistic expression.

The collaboration also arrives during a period of continued global momentum for Gentle Monster. Following successful partnerships with Maison Margiela and other luxury houses, the brand continues to strengthen its position at the intersection of fashion, design, and innovation.
The Prada x Gentle Monster collection launches in Japan on July 6 in stores, followed by an online release on July 7, before expanding to additional locations across South Korea and Mainland China for a limited time.
