A new era of global pop has officially arrived. HYBE x Geffen Records has unveiled SAINT SATINE, the newly formed four-member girl group born from the finale of World Scout: The Final Piece, the international audition series streamed via Japan’s ABEMA platform.
Blending polished performance, cross-cultural influence, and a sleek, high-fashion edge, SAINT SATINE brings together familiar fan favorites and a breakout new face poised to become the group’s defining final piece. The lineup includes Emily (USA), Lexie (Sweden), and Samara (Brazil) — all of whom first captured global attention through Netflix’s Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE — alongside newly selected member Sakura (Japan), who emerged victorious after competing against more than 14,000 applicants throughout the World Scout process.
The reveal arrives alongside the release of World Scout: The Final Piece – Finale, a two-track digital project showcasing the chemistry and creative direction behind the group’s debut era. Leading the release is “PARTY b4 the PARTY,” a high-energy track pairing Sakura with Emily, Lexie, and Samara in a bold introduction defined by punchy basslines, playful production, and confident vocal interplay. Meanwhile, “WE RIDE” leans into nostalgic early-2000s R&B influences with smooth harmonies and a more laid-back atmosphere.
But beyond the music itself, SAINT SATINE is already positioning itself within a larger aesthetic universe — one rooted in contrast, polish, and modern femininity. According to HYBE x Geffen, the group exists “at the intersection of desire and transcendence,” balancing softness with precision, elegance with edge. Even the name reflects that duality: “SAINT” representing charisma and artistry, while “SATINE” evokes refinement and sophistication.
The launch also marks the next chapter in HYBE x Geffen’s expanding global pop ambitions following the success of KATSEYE, whose rise from Dream Academy to chart success helped redefine the modern blueprint for internationally assembled pop groups. With members representing multiple cultures, languages, and creative backgrounds, SAINT SATINE appears poised to continue that evolution — this time with an even sharper visual identity and fashion-forward sensibility.
As anticipation builds worldwide, SAINT SATINE enters the scene not simply as another emerging girl group, but as a carefully curated vision of what next-generation global pop can look like.
