Now, OMEGA reveals the next evolution of its legendary Speedmaster Dark and Grey Side of the Moon collection: seven new models across four distinct dial variations, each showcasing the pinnacle of ceramic craftsmanship, precision finishing, and contemporary design.

Twelve years after the original Dark Side of the Moon captivated collectors, this 2025 release represents the most advanced expression yet. Featuring slimmer case profiles, redesigned architecture, and next-generation Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibres, the collection underscores OMEGA’s relentless pursuit of precision.

Each model is sculpted from highly polished ceramic using an evolved bevelled process that achieves remarkable depth and light play. Enhanced Liquidmetal™ technology reinforces bezels and crowns for superior durability, while a new two-layer ceramic dial introduces laser-brushed finishes that shift dynamically under changing light.

The lineup includes both reimagined classics and bold new designs:

Black Edition Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9908 — a slimmer, manual-winding model with a matte dial, red chronograph hand, and transferred grey and red markings.

Dark Side of the Moon Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9900 — a refined update to the original, featuring a Liquidmetal™ tachymeter and two-plate laser-brushed ceramic dial.

All-Black Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9900 — defined by darkened movement components, an enamel tachymeter scale, and diamond-polished indexes filled with Super-LumiNova.

Apollo 8 Tribute Model (Calibre 3869) — honoring the crew who first witnessed the Moon’s far side, featuring a laser-ablated lunar surface visible through both the skeletonized grey dial and the caseback.

OMEGA’s design evolution continues with reengineered strap innovations. Each nylon strap now features a rubber lining for enhanced wearability, while new rubber straps reveal a subtle lunar surface texture on the reverse—an elegant nod to the brand’s celestial heritage.
